About J&N Personal Training
Jay & Nia are the dynamic pair of trainers who make up Austin-based J&N Personal Training. We are both seasoned athletes and coaches and have over 30 years of combined fitness experience and instruction. Jay has been a competitive athlete for over 21 years. He has played both collegiate and professional football and holds two national championship titles. He has also coached a number of youth football and baseball teams, as well as trained athletes for the All-American Football World League and the Austin Wranglers. He has also appeared in the NBC sitcom Friday Night Lights. Jay is an expert in power lifting and conditioning. Nia has been a fitness instructor and personal trainer for over 10 years. She has taught at the University of Maryland, World Gym, and Gold's Gym. She is a certified personal trainer, certified group exercise instructor, certified group cycling instructor, National Physique Committee (NPC) Figure & amateur bodybuilding competitor. She loves to incorporate unconventional training methods, including kettlebells, sandbags, and body weight exercises, into her programs. Nia constantly researches new, innovative ways to produce optimal training results for herself and for her clients. Jay & Nia are both CPR certified.

We are residents of San Felipe, and would like to utilize our skills, experience, and expertise to make San Felipe one of the fittest communities in Austin! We also work with those outside of our community as well to help keep Austin Fit! We have turned our garage into a fitness facility and look forward to working with you! Please rest assured that we are experts in bringing out the inner athlete in every person, and we promote all aspects of fitness and wellness.

We offer group bootcamp style classes (3-10 participants per class), as well as individual and couples (2 person) personal training sessions. We provide a fun, dynamic training environment for people of all fitness levels. We specialize in sports conditioning, weight loss, aerobic conditioning, and strength training.
